GameFocus writes: "When one developer finds success with an idea, it is only a matter of time before others follow suit. After the great reception of Case Zero as a small, prequel-set downloadable experience for Dead Rising, we get Dead Space Ignition, a piece pre-release content for the upcoming Dead Space 2. Unlike Case Zero - which plays a lot like its father - for all intents and purposes, Ignition is very much a self-contained experience and won’t effect the main game’s grand story. If Dead Space 2 features any of the elements from Ignition, we may have a serious problem next year."
+ Mini-games are interesting at first…
- …but end up only being challenging if you don’t pay attention
- Very repetitive
- Short in length
- Branching storyline is misleading
