Quoting Nintendo Life's Corbie Dillard:
"Kirby's Epic Yarn is absolutely filled to the brim with whimsical charm and light-hearted humour, but it's the unique gameplay elements that make it truly shine. Obviously some long-time Kirby fans might end up being rubbed the wrong way due to the game's completely new mechanics, but it will only take them a few minutes of play to realise just how well it all works and how much playability it brings to the table. The toned-down difficulty might also concern some gamers who tend to prefer their platformers to be a bit more intense and challenging, but it's difficult to fault the game's more relaxed and deliberate style of play, especially given how much fun you'll be having while playing it. In truth, Kirby's Epic Yarn is every bit as much fun to play as it is to look at and a game no platformer fan should miss."
VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "As we're in the coldest part of the year right now, I thought it would be fitting to highlight some seasonally appropriate musical themes, even if this winter has been somewhat lacking, at least where I live. I did a very similar spotlight in 2018, but it's not like video games are short on winter-themed tracks, so here's another eight for you to listen to!"
Author Writes: Nintendo has been making cute things for as long as they've been around. Here are the cutest Nintendo games, ranked from kinda cute to disgustingly cute.
In this enhanced version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby is transported into a world made of cloth and yarn to unravel enemies, unzip secret passageways and transform into powerful vehicles.
Wow. I just read GI review of 9.5. I'm getting this no doubt. ;)
