The Entertainment Software Rating Board has released the rating summary for the upcoming massively multiplayer online PC and Playstation 3 game, DC Universe Online.
Hi everyone just wanted to be the first to make a comment. I dont think this game will do that well. Just doesnt seem very appealing to me.
Although I see more potential in The Agency, it has a chance of pulling off something great.
It definitely has its work cut out for it and has a ways to go. I wish there wasn't an NDA so more could be said, but can see why there is.
I'm not a MMO fan and definitely not a pay by month fan either(hate micro-transactions even more) but I am seriously considering this game, there's just something about fighting in the DC Universe that appeals to me,plus the action style of gameplay and character creation really is amazing, and if many other non MMO people think the same then it might do well.
i disagree also , there is a market for it judging by City of Heroes' past success .. A game wich didnt find a proper successor yet in its niche genre . DCU is the only title shaping up to be promising to fans of CoH thus far , and it's the first ever to actually feature a proper and popular comicbooks universe licence , with extensive work from known and major key figures of the industry , like Jim Lee . This alone guarantee an healthy mix of old CoH or Champions players and new guys lured in by the DC license , plus potential new clients from the console world . Now if your barometer is wow , that would be quite silly and impossible to achieve .
looks good, i need an new MMO other than Aion (yes, i play THAT game XD) well back to MOH
