Giving games the reboot

The creation of sequels is the oldest creative concern in history. For centuries the need to satisfy public demand, and the temptation to make some easy money, has had to be weighed against the desire of the artist to create something new and personally fulfilling. If you've ever read a book, seen a movie or played a video game though you'll know that the realities of keeping a roof over your head are usually the ones that win out.
