"With the release of Assassin’s Creed II in 2009, it was clear that Ubisoft had figured out how to deliver a great singleplayer, story-based action adventure game with all of the franchise standard accoutrements like parkour-style environment traversal, expansive cities and interesting combat, but now with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, not only is the publisher set to deliver a new singleplayer campaign to fans of the series, but a range of multiplayer offerings as well.

Is it possible to successfully bring Assassin’s Creed’s unique take on open-world exploration into multiplayer, and end up with an enjoyable result? If our hands-on time with Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s multiplayer component during rAge 2010 in Johannesburg is anything to go by, we’re pretty much convinced that Ubisoft has nailed it."
