onPause.org Review: Civilization 5

All in all Civ 5 is sure to make any turn based strategy game nut a sleep deprived zombie as it is well crafted and keeps players coming back for another turn. And another. If you have never played a Civilization game before for whatever reason, this one is the best point of entry into one of the best franchises in the genre.

I REALLY need to pick this game up. So many amazing reviews it has gotten. Any idea if it is coming to the Mac?

Possibly, since you can buy the game on Steam and they now support the Mac. You may want to download and install Steam to see if they have it available. If so, it will definitely be worth it as it is a great game. Really enjoying it myself.

It's about 4-5 hours a day, every day since launch.

Edits: bad math initially.

How ideas of civilisation have shaped gaming

Philip Boyes:

I loved taking my little people from their huts and ziggurats to the world of science and advanced space-flight.
