NBA Jam Review (RunDLC)

NBA Jam is a lot of fun, especially when you grab three other players and spend several hours performing high-flying dunks, nasty looking blocks and hitting rainbow three pointers to win games. It plays almost exactly like the old school Jams you may have grown up with. EA Sports even hired original Jam announcer Tim Kitzrow to re-record classic lines like “Boom-shaka-laka” and “He’s on fire”, while offering some new exclamations such as “Boom goes the dynamite!” It’s fast-paced, arcade style fun; the game you know and love, but with a modern twist in the form of new players, better graphics and even a few politicians thrown in for good measure. You don’t even need to enjoy basketball to appreciate it.

John Artest (RunDLC) (NBA Jam, Wii) 4/5
