Devil May Cry 4 Xbox 360: Exactly like it's PlayStation 3 counterpart.
Beat me to it antan! Was just about to submit this =P
Well it was hanging for a while, i rarely post but i thought it interesting.
This is my fev game. Ill play this for hours without stoping, and Im getting the ps3 version because I was very confort to use the ps2 D-pad
and get used to it
Could this be the 1st identical cross platform game?
yep the 1st of many.
I can answer that once i play the demo if they give us one
Not sure if it will be identical there is ALWAYS going to be some differences, dont forget the 360 and PS3 have totally different GPU's or unless the developers find a way of using the same features on both its certainly going to cost more making it on the PS3 because of the hardware especially the CELL since the GPU cannot do many of the graphical things the 360 can do hence why its easier and cheaper on the 360.
But it feels a bit weird for this game to come to the 360 though lol.
lol not when both Lost planet and Dead Rising each sold One million units on the Xbox 360
you really know a lot don't you.
Why Xbox version like PS3 version and not PS3 version like Xbox version?...BECAUSE THE PS3 IS THE TOP REFERENCE!
probably more to do with the fact DMC has always only ever been on sonys systems! all this crap about the ps3 version being downscaled for the xbox is just fan boy rubbish, come on its not like this game is exactly AAA quality is it! ive seen better stuff on the Amiga 1200!
And the game doesn't look impressive. Has there ever been a identical multiplatform game? I doubt it.
This game looks pretty good. I have to say I'm pleased with all of the action titles we've been getting as of late. This, Heavenly Sword, and Ninja Gaiden...the "Heavenly" trinity, so to speak.
It was on this site before that DMC3 PS3 will have downgraded graphics to be same as X360. He pointed out that certain graphics example the demon arm on PS3 can be done while on X360 it cannot be done due to lack of power.
Are you nasim/Larry007 by another name?
No i am not.
I am not a troll like you just search this site about what i said.
DMC died a long time ago, dont get me wrong, i liked the first one, second one sucked, pretty much the same for the third. it basically a game that revolves around button bashing! and whats with the bad dudes? the main boss's look amazing but 99% of the time its guys made of ice or fire or some crap!
DMC is old news now!
edit... Dude MGS4 is gonna rock ya wierdo! this is a DMC theard, try staying on topic!
I agree. Just like how MGS is a old, tired and worn out series. The 4th instalment just won't be great.
And probably shows that if you start with the PS3 and then port to 360, you should have less problems, than with the opposite. I hope more developers get the multiplatform-development right, if they use the PS3 then port to 360 or a different method makes no difference, if the game can run equally good on both platforms (not saying there isn`t advantages to each platform, but that`s another debate), it should.
Hope this is a coming trend, but i wouldn`t count in EA as they are bad at game-development period and not just multiplatform.
From what I have seen of this game it just looks like an Xbox 1 quality game as the visuals harldy seem to be that great.
We get an EQUAL game as the "powerful" ps3. As long as it's not the inferior version, you can add another victory for the 360.
hideki kamiya(creator of DMC) stopped making it after the first game.
he went on to make viewtiful joe and okami.
i agree mighty douche,i have all of them, but without his(kamiya's) vision,it's just not the same.which is why i turned to heavenly sword.dmc4 might end up tasting good but it's just not the same recipe.
..........................mag lev super train..................
yeah there is some potentail to it but i doubt its gonna be a system seller or anything, just standard hack and slash stuff, basically heavenly sword minus the story, graphics, game-play, sound quality.... do i need to continue?
