The North American box art has been revealed for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.
This game isn't going to sell well, not many people even talk about it. I can't believe they thought it would sell 3 million or something like that. lol. I'll be waiting for reviews, hopefully it's good :)
I read a preview and it seemed promising. The title isn't very good though. I had no idea what the game was about until I saw the monster, which jogged my memory. I thought it was a puzzle game at first. Definitely prefer the NA box art though. The EU box art looks like a children's game. The architecture in the background of the NA version reminds me of ICO and SotC, which I think are games these developers were inspired by.
probably because it's A- not a shooter B- not being made by a big studio/company name to attract attention though I hope that it's good.the industry is filled with FPS and shooters to the point that months can pass by before we can get a good game which isn't a shooter.
It'll sell well on PS3 in JP if its a good game. I doubt if anyone buys this on 360 outside JP as well. I saw this on QORE & didn't even know this was on Xbox.
I think it can do decent on the 360, as long as its a decent game and also if it has a demo. Devs need to fully recognize that demos are a must, a good demo at that. Hell, Alan Wake still doesn't have a demo, that I know of, which is mind boggling. With that said, MS nor Remedy are complaining about sales. But the question that begs to be asked, is why would they, since there isn't a demo. The demo on Live for Enslaved is around 4.5-4.75 stars out of 5, so thats good. Hell, Folklore didn't really sell but a few hundred thousand copies, if that. I'm sure the game will do decent seeing as though it is a multiplat game.
maybe Active, lets sales decide. I dont like the rating on 360 cause anyone can vote. On PS3 you have to download/buy content to vote. The enslaved demo was really good too. odd people here hate on it. I liked it
Hmmm, didn't know the PS3 had a rating system. Nevertheless, the rating systems on consoles is WAY better than the type like Metacritic or any one of them that are open to the world through the internet. No 360 fanboy is going to buy a PS3 to rate down all the games, nor is any PS3 fanboy going to go through all that trouble to damage the image of a 360 game. That situation with Metacritic happened because everyone has a computer and anyone can gain access to computers.
Wow, I forgot all about this game. November 23rd? Sounds tasty...
I don't think I have even heard of this game!
Get this game! The industry needs more games like this instead of soulless Activision drivel
If Folklore is anything to go buy it should be something different. It reminds me of Ico with a mix of Folklore and should fill a gap until the Ico collection.
Are you saying this game is made by the devs who made Folklore?
Yes, it is by the developers who made Folklore, Game Republic. And if Folklore is anything to go by- I'm quite sure I'll enjoy this title.
Yeah, I really dug Folklore. This news just doubled my interest. Thanks...
Wow, I had no idea. This game is definitely on my radar now. I loved Folklore.
it needs more publicity but it could be a great game.
Reminds me of Disney movies, pretty cool
Looks similar to Ico. I think it will be a great game that a lot of people will sleep on.
Heh, this looks pretty...interesting.
Ive been waiting on this for a while now. Looks very interesting. Everyone needs to check it out. Kinda got a last guardian vibe from it.
It's kind of like ICO except instead of some useless girl you travel with this giant Where the Wild Things are looking monster buddy who cleaves enemies for you and knocks down walls.
Watch your mouth!
oh that's right sorry, forgot ICO is sacred ground. MAH BAD GUSY!!
