Game1 has released an off-screen gameplay video of Haze, shown and playable at the Games Convention in Leipzig. The footage is from the PlayStation 3-version.
I'm REALLY excited about this game, but this low res video was rather unremarkable. Still cool to see the numerous gameplay elements, even though the guy driving the vehicles really sucked at it.
that was cause video player sucked but besides that it looks awesome
undecided about this game i thought the trailers looked good when they first came out but with the likes of Killzone,COD4 and Halo dont think its an essential purchase
Killzone 2 is too far out to even compare to Haze...I think you're right about COD4 and Halo3 though.
It is nice to see developers making brand new franchises though. I'm getting tired of games with numbers after the titles.
i might be getting UT instead
it looks promising, might pick it up with COD 4
looks great.. awesome lighting.. might be a little too bright.. but it's ok.. i rather bright than all dark like f.e.a.r. man that game get me dizzy..
1) Switch from First person to 3rd Person Over the Shoulder, with the option of going into First person mode.
think about it for a second.
Im really excited about this game. It looks amazing. I think Uncharted, Lair, Warhawk, UT3, Haze, HS, are the most exciting games for the PS3 this fall. I don't know why some people keep saying PS3 has no games. Let's see what they have to say next year, when Big "DADDY KZ2", MGS4, FF13, SOCCOM4 and GT5 come out.
did you just exclaim, "SWEAT?"
i kid, i kid (i do that all the time with "sweet.")
i think Haze will do well, simply because it's a shooter.
personally, i'm sick of shooters, but i'm curious about Haze.
i prefer games like Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, Folklore, and Uncharted, you know, third person adventure games.
i'd probably be more interested in Haze if i could switch to a 3rd person view (too much play in first person gives me a headache).
this video was horrible, but the gameplay seemed kind of standard, albeit fun.
I agree, the adventure genre is not carved out yet. Uncharted looks better every day (and can even compete with shooters - say "blindfire"). Wet looked awesome, too. If that's really and adventure game not just a Wnata-Be-Lara running around with guns. Lara is missed, though. I hope that Eidos will bring a PS3 version (not necessarily Aniversery, though), but besides that, I'd say there is a endless pool of adventure stories out there to implement, rather then just shooters.
I'm having a hard time to cound HS into that genre, though. I still believe that is a (very top level) hack n' slash.
Haze looks nice, though, and I'd take it - possibly over CoD4. I'll get Graw2. So I'm pretty much covered with realistic war games.
This video was great looking. Much better than I thought it would look.
EDIT: it was cool how the plants fell has he walked over them.
will do well
i would push the title release date from early nov to mid dec - if you look at the line up in DEC there really isnt much happen and with big titles like UT3 and COD4 fresh in ppls minds HAZE could be over looked as itll fall in the same field as a FPS
if they wait till dec - no great AAA FPS titles - it may make a bigger impact
ill get it either way - i love the CO-OP online mode
looked bad cause vid player sucked
this game looks superb, graphics, combat, everything is outstanding
Halo 3 and Warhound looks much better than this. Either way i'll get this next year on 360. I'll be too busy with Halo 3. Haze looks decent though.
