It's been out a couple of weeks now, so how are you getting on with Bungie's megaton series swansong?
Its like the best sauce I've ever tasted, Its awesomesauce. @below - I have other ways of expressing it, but i picked this one for the lulz.
Do you have any idea how [email protected] that sounds? Not that theres anything wrong w/ that...... XD XD XD
No not at all. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Do you know how gay, sprint, double melee is!?!
@ StanLee do you know how many times ive been headshotted trying to do that?!
really enjoying it but since f1 2010 came out that has been in my 360 non stop im loving it
It feels like every other Halo to me with more features
I found it at K-Mart.
I'm playing online non stop, I haven't touched any other game since I got it. I've been playing Halo since CE, and I still love it. You can call me a Halo fanboy if you want, but it's just fun.
250K cR :) I'm with Munish23. Call me a Halo Fanboy, but I've been on it non-stop. Loving every minute of it!
more power to you if you do. But I beat it played over 24 hours of the mp and I am done with it. It is just too similar to halo 3. It is safe to say that I am now officially sick of halo.
"Its super awesome " - urk
Getting an Xbox Just To Play It
It's great, but after playing MLG customs for 2 days in a row, i can't go back to regular matchmaking.
Gives me a headache.
Beat it and traded it back. Bought Dead Rising 2. Dont get me wrong, I think its the best Halo since the first one, but I'm just over it. Emptying 2 clips into an elites head to kill it just gets annoying when any more realistic shooter requires a headshot or a burst shot in the chest for a kill. Even the bloody grunts have shields in Reach.
If you played the other Halo's the 2 clips into the head thing should have been common sense for MP. EDIT: Unless like QuantumWake said below, you was either playing the campaign on the hardest difficulty, or there was engineers. Grunts don't have shields, aim for the head. There are grunts with helmets, they take 2 shots to the head. Not very hard at all.
I didn't know Halo: Reach was even trying to be realistic as say, Call of Duty. You must have been playing on Legendary Right? If not, then there might be something wrong. You should have checked if there were any Engineers in sight. They give off some shields to Elites and grunts. Maybe thats why you had problems. Or maybe you were firing to fast with the DMR. Slow it down a bit. Pace your shots. Grunts should die pretty quickly. Just one shot to the head for regular grunts, and about two shot for those grunts in white. I don't know if I just wasted my time telling you this since you already traded in Halo: Reach. But I guess this might help you in the future if you decide to give Reach another go. Or, this might help someone who hasn't play Halo: Reach yet. :)
I played the campain on Heroic. I have no problems hitting them, I know how to shoot. They just take alot to kill and its not really my style of play. An Elite can take a whole clip to the head with the DMR (why they just stand there is beyond me), not missing a round and still be standing. Thanks for the help anyway guys.
Apapt man, Halo is all about finding the right weapon for the situation. Here is a tip for you, try the Plasma Pistol (charged) + DMR to the head combo when fighting Elites. And another thing to keep in mind, the higher the rank of the Elite the more difficult they are to kill. For example an Elite Minor will be much less difficult to kill then a Elite Zealot. But on topic, I personally have been having a blast with Reach. Although I was a tad disappointed that we did not get to fight with any of the other Spartans on Reach during the campaign, It was still as much fun I've had with a game in a long time. Multiplayer is what it is, pure crazyness, fun all around, frustrating at points but nothing to take away from the enjoyment. Overall the game is well worth the wait for me, Halo:CE was and still is my favorite game of all time but Reach is slowly taking its place in my books, alongside ME2.
*edit, double post
youre a mw2 scrub. you have no skill in shooters go back 2 ur tent...
of the same sauce over and over again. I know I am.
why am i not surprised by your comments???? is it because ive never seen you say anything good about the 360 or its games... actually, bathyj is one of those people aswell
I have said plenty of times said I was looking forward to reach and Gears 3. I still am looking forward to gears 3. Am I supposed to like reach when I do not?. Check my gamerscore for it. 965 points with over 24 hours of mp. Im sick of halo now. It took 24 hours of mp to realize this.
It really offends you guys that I dont slurp Halos knob doesnt it? And how typical to reply with the You got no skillz remark. Thats just an excuse to not listen to me or my points. I gave the game credit, I said its a good game, just not my preferred style and honestly it hasnt progressed enough since the first one. But thats not enough is it, I have to bow down and worship at the alter of Halo to pass muster with you guys. Not everyone thinks Halo is the pinacle of gaming y'know. But thats just me, MY OPINION. The difference with me is I'm just stating it, not trying to ram in down your throats. I dont want/care/need you to agree with it, I just want you to allow me to have it.
i agree with u bathy plus 1
but I am enjoying the firefight...online is quite fun as well..
I didn't think it was short at all. It was longer than ODST, and Halo 3. Heck, might be as long as the Halo 2 campaign.
Halo: Reach is one of the best Halo games I've ever played. Played campaign on Heroic with 2 of my friends and we had a blast. I felt that Bungie really nailed the cinematics and even that touch of emotion that I never felt in any of the Halo games. In my honest opinion, Halo: Reach's campaign is something that I look forward to playing a couple of years from now. After I got done with Halo 3 and ODST's campaign, It felt really dull. It wasn't really something that hooked me into playing again. After I finished Halo 3's campaign, I jumped straight into multiplayer and having been playing that for the past 3 years. I didn't play the campaign in forever! Halo: Reach is a damn good game. I enjoyed every minutes of it. 7hank you Bungie! Cheers! :D
the game is good. besides graphic issues in splitscreen and lack of levels its a gr8 game.....just gets odd how 3 or 4 player splitscreen offline is so wierd looking. the characters and vehicles keep loading textures, especially on anything in the forge lvl (like pinnacle and the others) luv the loadouts and the assasinations (air one ftw) Oh and um, why the F did they take out flame grenades? theyy were my fav :(
ive never really been good at halo games, im more of a "realistic/tactical" shooter guy, you know the games where it doesn't take 30+ shots to kill some one. But i do have a blast with it every once in a while. I hate the blur effects they added, its really poorly done. Good thing the motion flow on my bravia kills some of that.
The campaign is extremely weak. I prefer Halo 2's campaign over all other Halo campaigns because of the variety in levels and the pacing of the game. The multiplayer is great but the different modes need to be separated out. My 360 is dead now. I won't be playing Reach for months.
kinda dissapointed i was hopin for it to be more cinematic and emotional but didnt feel alot of that which is a shame. its typical halo with upgraded graphics and multiplayer
To be honest I never been the biggest halo fan so I basically got this game over the hype but its a pretty solid game with lots of content. The single player campaign was a little disappointing for me but online is good fun.I doubt i'll touch this game again once medal of honor and black ops comes out tho.
Alot of awesome moments like this one here (I'm the blue Spartan with the Flaming Head gunning on the Falcon)
Nice way to score the core. Never even thought of that, but it seems it worked a charm for you. Will have to try that sometime. That is one of the reasons I love Halo games. You have been able to do crazy stuff like that sine CE.
ive beeen loving halo alsooo cant get my hands off it, its gonna make me fail my 4rth year of uni
kinda feels like halo 3 with a few new additions and with less thought out game modes. The objective playlist is horrible at the moment, especially oddball where it's just about whoever grabs it first then just drop a bubble sheild and you can't be touched he rest of the game. armour lock is just damn annoying and slows gameplay down. nothing worse than having a firefight with someone only for them to go invinsible, usually just resulting in you killing them when they come out or getting done from behind by their teammate. It just feels like they added to halo without changing too much (which is fine) but they forgot to balance meaning it's a big lucky dip when matchmaking. also only 7 maps? or whatever the number is, some of which are just recycled from past games. Just seems to me like they're preparing to add in plenty of dlc. Also the lack of maps means feasible playlists are lacking e.g. playing a 3v3 snipers we got some map that in the past i'd only ever played big team battle on. I was like wtf is this campfest doing in a 3v3 snipers??
Players work in teams? Who the hell is this guy playing with? Last match I remember, my own teammate when crazy with the rocket launcher shooting it at every enemy he came across regardless if teammates were on the verge of beating the guy down (who had no shields.)
We rarely lose when we work together. If we happen to split up the entire match, it is a toss up if we win or not, but when we work together, we win like 80-90% of the time.
Amazing, unfortunately it will have to be shelved for a few weeks when FIFA 11 comes out.
havent finished the Camp.. its ok, not my fav. matchmaking once again, is really kewl online play is the same with some tweaks I still say the game is a 9, no more and it wont be GOTY..sorry it just cant be with all the other games
Campaign sucked once again.
