Out of all of them I think The Orange Box might be the best one. That game has survived me trading it in for three years! Sometimes you just need a TF2 fix..

Good list but I think I would have tweaked it to include:

-Burnout Paradise

-Arkham Asylum

-L4D2

-Earth Defense Force ( jk!.....not really...:( )

If you like TF2, you should really play it on PC. Don't mean to beat the drum for PC gaming, it's just that you get so much more out of Valve games on PC. Microsoft forces them to charge for all the free updates they patch in through Steam on PC, which is why they bundled together a ton of them all at once awhile back. I know TF2 has had a lot of updates, too. Seems like every time I login it gets updated.

No, dont get me wrong, I love it on PC! Soooo much better on PC and I think Valve really cares about there customers. I've played it on both and I think for me its more my couch and my really nice tv are more comfortable and asthetic than my office chair and my monitor. I could run lines down to the living room but its more of a hassel. If valve put out a full TF2 on 360 w/ all the current updates I would probably break down and buy it.

10. Halo 3: ODST - Halo has gone through a lot of great times, but this entry in the series seems to be disliked by most gamers. Why is that? I found it to be ALMOST as good as Halo 3. Maybe I enjoy games for what they are.

9. Halo 3 - If you have an Xbox, I think you've played this. Whether you're one of those that hates it (I used to be, but my gaming opinions have changed over time) or a fanboy, the basic fact is that Master Chief is still awesome.

8. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - A great deviation and it gets the series going right... until MW2. Let's see if BO brings the series back.

7. Call of Duty World at War - This is my favorite of the series. I guess it's the gritty take on WWII, something the original didn't seem to have. But this is fun. Maybe a bit unbalanced online, but great anyway.

6. Gears of War - The only one I seem to like.

5. Soldier of Fortune: Payback - Not constructed in a superb fashion, but nothing beats blowing off limbs with a shotgun with a over-powered weapon over 1000 times. I love this one.

4. Unreal Tournament III - Do any UE fans know this game exists? It only has two servers online and only a few people play it. Still, the game is fun whether in the STORY-BASED single-player (YES! A STORY!!), instant action, or in the hilariously fun multiplayer. Get this game. You won't regret it.

3. Halo Reach - Not the best in the series, but really close, I must say. This is a must-buy, of course.

2. Splinter Cell Conviction - The best of the entire franchise and one of the finest action games or stealth games ever made. Not TRUE stealth, but it gets pretty close.

1. Fallout 3 - The best RPG of all time. I'm a big nostalgia gamer, so don't say, "You haven't played Final Fantasy!!", because I have... and I hate it. From the atmosphere of the Capital Wasteland the the struggles your character goes through early on and the destruction you can cause to the world later, the game is based on choice. If you HAVE a choice, pick this game. Sure, it may be multi-platform, but PS3 version is inferior to both 360 and PC. A fantastic game and the most time-consuming of my life.

This was a very long post. Anyway, please give me some bubbles!!

And who disliked? Either a PS3 fanboy or a Splinter Cell purist, right?

antz11042938d ago

I still go back to playing UT3 sometimes, fun game.

gamerdude1322938d ago (Edited 2938d ago )

Out of the three I've played (Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament III), this matches the first one (2004 was good, but the other 2 just SLIGHTLY edged it out). I love it a crap load. Was playing it this morning...

Please give me some conversation bubbles!!

Paradise Lost2938d ago

same, the game is extremely fun.

gamerdude1322938d ago

Wait... you're telling me more than 10 people have this game? Well, now I have 11.

antz11042938d ago

LOL, + bubble added; such small a group we have to stick together!
