When the skate. demo finally hit Gamespy was pumped up and ready to let EA WOW them. And WOW them they did.
this demo sux. Skating is more fun when it's not so real.;) great graphics though.
The whole point of the game is to have a more realistic perspective of things.. go play Tony Hawk.
when they going to review the PORTstation 3 version ?
EDIT :@below;my mum not lesbian .
EDIT 2:@BLOW:I am sorry...but hi..u still can play with CUCUMBER
After the wedding. Me - Your mum.
Edit: @ALI-G, such a shame.
Then you missed the whole point of skating...
demo is boring, any THPS vet can master the controls in about 10 secs. and the graphics were medicore as well. overall C-

I just played it earlier and it sucks, I know they wanted to make it realistic but its not fun and the learning curve is really to hard for most new gamers. But I give them credit for trying something new and maybe they'll get it right the next time around, and the camera really sucks for this game I don't know why they made the camera like that. I guess its back to TONY HAWK.
I really don't know what's up with you fools but the learning curve is dead-on and very easy to pick up. As for the visuals, they're good. However, there's always room from improvement.
the game look good
I just played the demo and although its cool that they made it realistic but in the end it gets boring quick.
3 "it sucks" comments, 1 'if you like realism then go for skate" comment, and 1 del the funky homosapien reference...i guess i'll try it out myself when i get home
best thing to do
I liked the demo, but I won't be buying the game. Pulling off a series of tricks would take a lot of practice and patience because approach angles and speed and timing need to be dead on.
It would be very satisfying to pull a line of stunts - for a select few. Its accesible in that any bonehead can pull off a basic trick, but to master it will take patience. With TH - ANYONE can pull off amazing looking and feeling combos - and with the success of the Wii - something tells me that many gamers want easy and fun as opposed to realistic and challenging.
Final verdict - it will be a cult hit.
Loved it. Takes a while to get used to the controls, but after that it's awesome. The tricks don't feel scripted as in Tony Hawk. You can do stuff like go flatland and then into a grind just by riding over an edge. Excellent!
