Imprecise motion controls ruin all five of the sports featured in this disappointing collection.
Sony may have to force developers to at least update the gameplay to match the move. Looks like some developers are trying for some quich cash. Stuff like this could tramatize a kid and turn him off from the move. The ports have to play at least as good as they do on the Wii.
b4 it hits just them trying too boost their roster n cash in ofcourse. fact that your reading this tho means your not gonna fall for this stuff on the shelves. i hope ;)
This is neither developed or published by Sony. Don't blame Sony, blame Asobo Studios and Ubisoft.
they put on the ps3 its always been their policy not like they didnt know it was fud b4 they decided to let it on their platform. you fanboys are way too sensitive why not be a real fan and call this what it is a cheep money grab just be happy they got some AAA games too.
bubbles for injecting a little truth in the discussion.
I dont trust any review from cnet, I tried the demo and it played fun for me. In fact got quite a nice burn going in my shoulder from playing the tennis game. add to that the fact that I am only standing about 3-4ft from the screen in my bedroom it actually perform pretty accurately. FUD ftl.
isnt that game on wii from ubisoft and it got good reviews on wii ps3 move already getting bad reviews on there games what al oad of crap ill stick with wii until nintendo themselves make the true next gen motion controls
Another fool who hasn't tried the move yet has alot to say.
Sony will be too worried about this game doing well anyway.
Stick to Sony 1st party and other quality developers and you'll be fine. Unfortunately this will sell, fortunately it will be bought by people who don't know any better and will have a bit of fun irregardless of quality.
And the shovelware begins... Stick to Sony 1st party and other quality developers and you'll be fine. Unfortunately this will sell, fortunately it will be bought by people who don't know any better and will have a bit of fun irregardless of quality. = casual market.
And really there's nothing wrong with that, there money is as good as anyone else's. Most quality companies won't resort to shovelware.
it seems to me that ALOT of people, just because this device will support alot of hardcore games are expecting every MOVE game to have a hardcore feel, or to have the same super precise controls they have.. fact is this game, the party one and kung-fu rider are for the casual gamer.. so yeah us hardcore gamers wont like it & even see the weaknesses in the game.. but its a completely different view for a casual gamer, it will probably even be fun for them. Dont get me wrong im not defending a bad game or anything, i just think saying things like "imprecise motion controls ruin 5 games" when the playstation Move if anything, has been praised and rated highly for the precision of the hardware, is sort of dumb. maybe more "played this game, was pretty disapointed.. wasn't any fun for me or the family" (of course in an article/review there would be alot more words).. but yeah reviewing a casual game on a hardcore basis is silly. imo anyway
I don't know but I am a core gamer and I tried the demo for Start the party and I thought it was pretty cool and fun. Sometimes you jsut want something else to play, otherwise it will be an endless parade of fps and 3rd ps.
I dont't think these games are top quality but they are fun. I enjoyed these games over the weekend and will continue to as long as I keep in mind that they are not ment to be AAA titles. Sport Champions, Start the Party. Although the demo for this game was poor IMHO.
What is Ubisoft doing?
I guarantee the developer coded the Wii waggle into this game. You'll see placement coded properly when playing Sports Champions. Playing with the Move you really have to pay attention to your controller placement. It tracks the angles AND axis of the Move controller. You pay the price when playing racket games with your controller out of place.
I'v been playing the demo and it seems ok. You just can't expect too much out of this one because they obviously ported it over with no tweaks to the controlls. But wht gets me is how the reviews say that the motion controlling is inprecise and what not. But that's not the MOVEs fault and they should point that out. Anyways Sports Champions is way better so pick that up if you want a good MOVE game.
