Have you ever wanted to be the one who runs the item shop in a Japanese role-playing game? As strange as it might sound, it is a concept that appears to be like none other. EasyGameStation originally developed this game for Japan back in 2007. We have Carpe Fulgar to thank for localizing it and releasing it in English. In Recettear, your job is to get items for your item store to sell to villagers and adventurers by means of buying them off of other customers, marketplaces, or hiring thrill seekers to go in to dungeons for you to get loot. Quite a lot of different types of virtual simulations have been crafted over the years but this remains to be the most unique idea to date and one that offers quite a lot of fun.
