Opinion: CVG urges you to get in on the best motion control experience now
For me its one word and that is RUSE.....RTS are really not meant to be played with a normal controller and the Move is the closet to a mouse and keyboard
Playing Ruse with move is like playing Starcraft 2 with only a mouse. No thank you. however I am getting one heck of a kick out of Championship sports, gladiator Challenge with two move controlers is really fun. Its a day one for because it is a good product that has alot of promise.
Is the Move out yet?
Yeah mouse has so many buttons /s and YES MOVE IS OUT! I just picked mine up!
Hot keys are necessary for RTS games.
actually we got two move controllers! Eyepet is the kids favorite hands down. They should also bundle Eyepet with Move.
I just gotta do it...
One better! http://www.youtube.com/watc...
LOL! I wouldn't have thought to use that one, ha ha ha!
gettin mine today, can't wait to try it out.
Definitely recommend it and pick up sports champions with it as well.
I'll wait until some better games come out for it. No point in buying it right now. Or i'll just wait until I can find the bundle for $30-$40 off
Have you Played Move ,I Have ,its the Wii all over again.Set up is a Pain Some will like it ,some will no .Its not for everone thats for sure
STFU you have not played it. Everyone with half a brain at this point knows its leaps and bounds over the Wii. Maybe you should read some of the reviews instead of being an ignorant retard.
Pain to set up? Dude just connect your ps eye in and calibrate your ps move. And Bam! There it is. If you can't do the above, then you ultimately suck at gaming.
For an extra 150$ you can get guys from Wal-Mart (or is it Best Buy?) to set it up for you,
bobdog626, I felt like you for a couple minutes of playing the move. Actually I started to get really frustrated. The problem at first was it was just too accurate. But after I got the hang of it, games like table tennis were just a blast to play. Now if it only had online play!
@rwarner174: I believe that you're sincere, but I'm having trouble envisioning sports champions' table tennis being 'awesome' because, well, here in the real world, where everything is fully 3D and we have 100% accurate motion controls, table tennis is sort of gay. :) That's sort of how I felt about Wii bowling when I played it. At first it was like, "This is amazingly cool" and then after we got it back from best buy and had in the house for a week, I remembered why we never went bowling in the real world.
Oooh yeah, plugging that USB into the PS3 and pressing the MOVE button sure is a pain... Ouch, that calibration screen where you turn the wand on it' two axis took FOREVER!
I set mine up no problem. Just had a few minutes during my lunch break to pop home and give it a try. Up and running in no time. Every though it might be just you?
set up is a pain? Wow, bobdog626. I bet youalso have a hard time installing a new mouse on a PC? rofl.
@montrealien sry by the disagree, i was trying to hit agree actually T_T
2 controllers, 1 sub-controller and Sports Champions. Can't wait.
I'm not getting it until the end of the month, but I'm currently in the process of downloading all of the demos from PSN! EDIT: Is it true that the Move requires calibration every time you play?
Yes and though its a pain...its worth it
Ok, thanks for the reply. It shouldn't be a problem for me but my little sister may get a bit frustrated having to do it!
Please, takes like 3 seconds to calibrate.
Its not so bad. It takes a second. I was worried about this too, but it is honeslty like a 10 second process.
Got mine today. Love it. Sports Championships Table Tennis is awesome. Let my brother have a go, and we ended up competing for the best speed. So far it's 106km/hr by me!
Awaiting delivery from Kalahari.net Kids are becoming restless with anticipation...
My order comes in this afternoon. I am really excited to try it out, but unfortunately not really much after that. When Killzone 3 and SOCOM come out, that will be a different story. I am excited to try Heavy Rain, High Velocity Bowling, MAG and all the demos. I hope Sony will be faithful and support this nice piece of hardware with corresponding software.
KMART has a 25 dollar coupon if you buy before the 26 but you can only use from 26 to oct 26....the bundle comes with sports champions and wow its smaller than i thought but its accurate as hell
ok guys what should i do? I have a $100 sears/kmart gift card, i already have the EYE but i have a friend that would buy it from me. should i get the bundle anyway or should i get two motion controllers sans sports champions? please give your opinions
get 2 moves.. let your friend play with u!
I absolute love the Move, It is everything I would hope it would be. Everything I've tried with it so far has been phenomenal.
I picked up START THE PARTY as my shop had it for £15 - I wasn't expecting much and, to be honest, still think it's shallow nonesense... BUT: Simply because of the amazing 1:1 accuracy of the lagless Move (which I could rave about all day), even this collection is fun.
Funny how when a shiny new toy finally hits the store shelf, people change their minds...I have never cared much for motion control games, but I think I am going to make a store run today & buy this.
I just tested move, and being pretty much against motion controllers I must say I just got convinced. It was AWESOME! :D
I bought Move today, with Ruse. havn't had time to play Ruse with it, but checked out the frisbee game and then table tennis with my mate, he didn't know anything about the move, but was really impressed with its accuracy. he left with the intention of picking up one for himself, cant wait to kick his butt playing Ruse.
Just got my move. RE5 gold was a blast and so were all the demos I tried. Sports champion is a blast. Can wait to get my copy over by mail. I officially love move from now on.
Move has been receiving tonnes of positive press lately. Word of mouth should ensure that it will get the sales it deserves
Everything sony produces is a day one purchase!
