Hands On: PlayStation Move Makes Resident Evil 5 Deadly Accurate

Those zombies didn’t stand a chance, however, because Move offers a significant advantage over traditional controls. The ability to point and shoot directly at my targets sent my accuracy rate sky high. I also enjoyed the new knife control, where a shake of the Move wand would trigger a quick knife strike.

Getting Move on Friday :D

Also getting Resident Evil Gold Edition on Friday

Just to let you guys know that the Move doesn't work on the original Resident Evil 5 copy but only works for the Gold Edition. Yes I know it sucks, but what can you do about it.

Kain813010d ago

ahh dont support it?
I mean CRAPCOM...they could do a Patch to all Versions...

jay23010d ago

Capcom used some CPU that the MOVE requires no run on the first RE5, they didn't know about the MOVE at the time. In any case, I got my MOVE controller and the navicator, so going to play it very soon.

Capcom explains why only Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition works with PlayStation Move:

For those interested in the RE5: Gold Edition, buy it at Walmart stores. I think they screwed up on the pricing or something but it's being sold for $39.99 while it's $59.99 in best buy, fry's, and target.

teedogg803010d ago

it's $39.99 at Gamestop also. Picked it up yesterday.

Wh15ky3010d ago (Edited 3010d ago )

Is that US dollars? That's quite expensive, isn't it? In the UK it's been re-released and is retailing at £19.99 but some places are selling it at £14.99 that's about $24.

ThanatosDMC3009d ago (Edited 3009d ago )

Awesome! They lowered down the price. Yes, US dollars.

Capcom needs to re-release Resident Evil 4 HD with Move/Trophy support

TrevorPhillips3010d ago

SO true beaversmurfmire :P

Giggity Giggity Goo :D

Cloudberry3010d ago

Okami HD with Move & Trophy support too.

NecrumSlavery3010d ago

And Epic Mickey.

Basically the hardcore games on the Wii in HD....Are we trying to kill off Nintendo People?

rockleex3010d ago (Edited 3010d ago )

Everybody burns Miyamoto at the stake... but then it doesn't affect him.

Then Miyamoto whistles and his WiiMotion Plus broom comes flying and sweeps him away.

"Darn it! You won't get away NEXT TIME!! Your broom only works under good lighting conditions! By the way, who told y'all to give him such good lighting conditions?!"

Tsk tsk tsk. <_<

CrIpPeN3010d ago

That game has been released to death already (Resident Evil 4).

Okami on PS3? then they should have Okami 2 because I already play the first one.

ForzaGT3010d ago

the resi gold edition and move will be good buy on launch

getting mine tomorrow

phatak3010d ago

people say re5 was not developed with move in mind but was sly cooper developed with move with mind? its a 7 year old game and it has move support

NecrumSlavery3010d ago

Resident Evil 4: Wii is ported from last gen to this gen, like Sly. But this is patching in a current build to a specific code all in this gen. Maybe it's a little more difficult. It's better than a revamped 3rd addition at $60. I agree, being an original RE5 owner, that an all versions patch would of been nice, but this is better than another version of the same old game.

BYE3010d ago

RE5 + Move = Win.

RE4 was awesome with Wii controls and this one will be even better.
