NowGamer celebrates the launch of PlayStation Move by looking at the games that are coming out post-launch, the innovative ways they work with Move and how they will impact the industry.
We shall see. Move is nothing more than a glorified Wii controller. Just my opinion.
Then the fact is that you haven't tried it my friend
Go look at a Wii commercial and then look at a Move commercial. "It brings the family together!" "It gets you off the couch!" They should at least tip their hat at the Wii. Yes they redesigned it and I'm sure it will be big hit, but as for redefining gaming I doubt it.
Dont let a simple commercial to mislead you, clearly Sony wants a piece of the casual market. That said, MOVE brings a lot of precision (along side with its camera capabilities) that might prove to be game changer.
well the same can be said about the kinect...just a glorified eyetoy.
Its an improved version of the wii. No one can deny that. But that doesnt mean its a bad thing. Wii is a very fun console to use and now you can basically do the same thing with a console that can play in hd/3d and also have the ability to use a controller(wii can use a controller but its not meant for it). So I really dont see any problem here....
You are just slow. Just my opinion.
when I can play REAL games like Socom, KZ... than I will think about buying Motion. I was very interested in playing RE with it, but what I have read...I gotta pass
It's a good idea to pass on RE5 with Move, it's not what it could have been.
What do you mean. I just moved myself through chapter 1-1 and I just loved it. There is a learning curve but once you get it you are unstoppable. RE5 gold edition costs something like 13 pounds so you really cannot go wrong with it. That's my opinion anyway :)
I can't say move will "redefine". Nintendo did it, and that's why Sony is doing what it's doing. Sony is doing the controller better, buit it's being done in the way Nintendo "redefine" game controls
But it will take motion gaming a lot further... Last time PS1 redefined it if I remember correctly :)
I Played it .Fustration is all i can say about the Move .Set up is a Bit#%.I guess kids will like it though.
I really don't know who I should believe. You or about 30 respected technology sites...I mean you have got a picture of a dog as your avatar so I guess I should go with what you say right?
I've got to agree with you on some level bobdog626. Having played with Move myself I have my doubts aswell. However, that maybe software related as opposed to hardware. I didn't find setting it up to be a problem, unless you're referring to calibration, but even that only takes a couple of seconds each time.
If this is your first motion device I can see why you have problems. I have no problem with move, works great.
It does take some finesse and skill.I liked it much better than Wii because it worked well and was reliable. My first 4 hours were positive indeed.
It's alot of fun guys, simple games so far but some from sports Challenge are like crack. Just one more go I keep saying.... It is uncanny the way you feel like you are genuinely top spinning or slicing the ball in table tennis, the accuracy of the angle's and distance is spooky. The wii could only pray for the graphical and accuracy improvements the new ps3 move combo brings to the table. I guarantee you will smile when you first hold that big bouncy wiggly glove for the first time on tv. It's very clever.
Ooops! double post
I love Now Gamer's, rushed, poorly written topical stories that serve only to get hits.
motion control and 3D are overrated to the max. Until I see an actual game worth paying 150 for move and over $2,000 for a 3D T.V. there's no way in hell.
