Mike Smith: Nintendo’s iconic mascot Mario has sold over 240 million video games, been heralded as gaming’s most recognizable face, holds seven world records -- and he’s passing another huge milestone this week.
Yeah...I already knew all of these...
Me 2, but wasn't Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels released before in the super mario all stars compilation on the snes?
Yes The Lost Levels were released on the SNES in 1993, the game was on the Super Mario All Stars cart.
Not only that, you could also unlock it on Super Mario Bros. DX for the GBC.
Man japanese developers think too lowly of the west when it comes to gaming :( Can't handle mario my ass xD
did you know mario has a false moustache.lol
yeah like 10 years before in JP
He is remarkably small, wears a plumber outfit & has an epic beard. :-3 That's all you really need to know.
Man that annoys me when Japan deems a game to difficult for Western audiences.
Pssh, I knew all these..... Stinking Yahoo. Stop being a noob. Although I didn't know the reason for SMB 2 not being released in the US was because it was too hard.....That's sad. v_v
Mario Mario. Alias, Mr Gay =P
way to focus on 1 box art out of 200plus... Maybe it says something about you that the one with gay in it is the one that stands out.
ay man, calm down, just playing around, yeesh.
These are all lame. Journalist is obviously a non-gamer who grabbed some factoids off Wikipedia.
Lol... "5 things that everyone has read 150 times about Mario".
Yeah, anybody that checks a website like N4G would already know these things.
