Hugely anticipated video game Halo: Reach made £128million on the first day of its release - beating major Hollywood blockbuster films like Iron Man 2 to become the biggest entertainment launch this year.
I am a halo fanboy to the heart. And there is nothing more that I would I like to see than to see Halo dominate the sales of the media industry. HOWEVER, I must admit that mw2 outsold it and Black ops will probably do the same. That would make Black ops the biggest entertainment launch of the year. and If it outsells mw2 which is entirely possible...it would become the bigges media launch in history trailed by its predecessor....
Halo is 360 exclusive MW is/was not. That is still a very respectable 1st day sales amount. Very respectable. The game is awesome. I am loving the bigger battles and the more accessible vehicles. Nothing beats running over covenant in a Ghost....
I wonder how many of those discs are defective, and how many are useless because the owner has a 4GB Slim. Great sales for Halo, but it correlates with a big headache for Microsoft XBox Support.
Yep, great first day sales...I know MW2 made 500 million in 5 days when it launched, we will see how Reach does over the weekend. I think they should of launched the game on Friday to allow it's main demographic time to enjoy the game with friends. Doesn't matter, Halo Reach is a great game. Nothing is gonna stop Black ops this November though. CoD is the game to have this gen.
the discs aren't defective, the systems some people are running them on are outdated hardware luckily i got the reach 360. Runs smoothly
A 360 is a 360. It should run on all of them, and the 4GB was just released. I'm not dissing your precious Halo, fanbaby. I just KNOW support is getting hammered. Ah, the price of success.
they are on multiple systems. Plus COD?! seriously? LMAO COD = FAIL why would you spend your hard sweat, bloodied earned money on bobby's greedy ass?
