CryEngine 2 Motors MMORPG

XLGames, the head of which played a major role in creating the MMO Lineage, has signed on to license Crytek's CryEngine 2, the same dev tool behind the FPS Crysis.

Seoul, South Korea-based XLGames was founded in 2003 by Lineage creator Jake Song, former executive VP of NCsoft.

It's not the first time Song has used Crytek's technology. He used the CryEngine 1 technology for NCsoft's MMO Aion, which is yet to be released.

i thought i'd post a silly comment when I thought it was a slow news day but then i read the Paramount going exclusive for HD-DVD. Wow. Not a slow news day anymore.
