GameFocus: Plants vs Zombies Review

GameFocus: PopCap is arguably the biggest player in casual gaming. With titles such as Bookworm, Bejeweled, Zuma and Peggle, their catalog reads like a Greatest Hits of the casual games market. When their latest IP - Plants vs Zombies - launched on PC last year, it was predictably an immediate hit. What I didn’t realize was how much I was going to enjoy it. Once I started playing, I couldn’t turn it off until I had it completed. Now that the game has made the journey over to Microsoft’s XBLA platform, does it still hold the same green-thumbed magic or is it time to till up the lawn and start over? (Plants vs Zombies, Xbox 360) 9.7/10
