PALGN : XBLA Dead Rising 2: Case Zero Review

While it was a first-run Xbox 360 title, Dead Rising was more fun in concept than in execution. The high scores upon release seemed to signal hope and potential rather than what was really there (as was later reflected in the Wii port, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop), and aside from the contentious save system, the big problem with the original game was that you had to go to way too much effort for not enough reward. You had to risk getting torn a new one in every square inch of the game just to belt zombies with a teddy bear...
