New tech turns any surface into a platformer

Researchers at Tokyo University and Keio University in Japan have recently developed a new technology that can literally turn any real-world surface into a platform game. Dubbed Twinkle, this technology uses a projector and camera to place a character on any surface that will respond to obstacles it encounters as it would in a video game. For example, if the projected character encounters a line on a dry erase board, it will treat it like a wall and will be unable to pass.
