Hudson Soft announces Wii Sports rival - Deca Sporta

Hudson Soft has announced Deca Sporta, a Wii Sports-alike that incorporates the use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck in a variety of disciplines not included in the title that acted as nearly everyone's introduction to the motion-sensing console.

Two scans show off a number of Deca Sporta's activities including volleyball, soccer, archery, badminton, basketball, go-karting and motocross. Alright, I'm not even gonna lie.

The basketball's got me interested.

And OMG..characters are BROWN!..heh..I just figured out why the Miis are colorless.

Agreed. Basketball looks really interesting. Also, good point about characters and Miis. So unlike Wii Sports the game doesn't use Miis.

Its no realmatch to Wii Sports because people have to buy this game while most people got Wii Sports bundled with their Wiis.

But some of its games/sports to look interesting.

I dunno, mate, isn't Wii Sports one of the, if not the most purchased Wii titles in Japan, where it was not bundled with the console?

The graphics look fine from those screenshots, and as long as the gameplay and motion sensing is tight and accurate, there will probably be no reason for a Wii owner to not purchase this game. Personally I'm in favor of this game, and showing off more sports simulations for the Wii.

I figured it out. It will bring 10 sports games. That's how they came up with the name.
