Insomniac Games’ James Stevenson recently answered numerous fan questions concerning Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Resistance 3 and many other topics.
When you go to the playstation blog, you can see that almost every question has a reply from Insomniac. That is how much they care about the fans. Cannot wait for their games!
I couldn't agree with you more.
Insomniac are the best devs ever, not only because their games are so creative and fun, but because they are such nice folk who genuinely care about their fans.
On how trophies are handled in offline co-op: “If all four players are on the couch together, they will ALL be able to sign into PSN and earn trophies and such.”
I'm curious about the offline mutliplayer question. So, does that mean the game will have split screen for 4 players offline? Cause if so my interest levels have raised for this game! Too bad the questions for R3 really didn't provide room for more info. But more news hopefully by the end of the year! I want 4 player offline co-op and competitive modes :D
yh 4 player offline/online any combination
yes they really do take fan's feedback seriously. The latest blog shows just how dedicated their community manager is.
bring back the weapons wheel in Resistance 3?
That's all I want to know! The rest, to me, is only spoilers. I like to spoil games as little as possible before I get my hands on them.
I'm excited for Resistance 3. I need to pick up a Rachet & Clank game dammit. ._.
James Stevenson did a good job on the blog answering the questions. He answered both of mine and they are in the examiner article as well.
the game still is a FPS right? cus based on the responses about the co-op it seems like the changed they perspective... And I see they reduced the players count of the co-op from 8 to 4 but I'm glad to see that you can play with any combination of online or offline players at the same time. My honest opinion is that this game sounds like it will be shit after reading this part: “In single-player, you pick your character, and you pick one companion who will be controlled by AI. So two characters on screen so you can still do all the co-op stuff!” “All the weapons will have things you can do with them alone, but all will be more powerful if used together.” I like co-op in my main campaign but I really hate it when it's forced. Now I'm stuck with a stupid A.I. ala Resident Evil 5 for the entire game and on top of that Hale's fuking dead!
I never played RE5 so I don't know how bad the AI was or how much it affected the game, but in R2 you had an ai character with you most of the time. They were useless but you learned to work around them. As long as you don't have to worry about a game over if that character dies I'll make due.
re-read the article... the 2 quotes you have in ur comment are about Ratchet & Clank: All for One...
Well don't play it by yourself then find a friend or play online. It is a different game to what we are used to but I trust in Insomnaic. edit: Oh as Ron_Danger said I think you are refering to Resistance 3 nor Ratchet.
R3 is looking really interesting, hope it's as good or better than Resistance fall of man!
the 3 year Dev. policy is a good idea. Though i think R2 was awesome( loved the Co-Op), i feel like it could have benefited from a few more months in Dev. Exited for R3, is Nathan really dead?
Imagine the improvement in game-play and graphics if they had spent one additional year on Resistance 2 and from moving to 30fps, I just hope they realise more people liked the style of Resistance 1 than 2. Seems like a darker tone to the game as well, seemed like a survival horror at times during the trailer
they say that teaser trailer shows the tone of the game we'll see in R3. so,that means it's going to be brutal and scary as Fall Of Man. fuck yeah :)
KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone know where i can submit my Resistance 3 fan wishlist? I have compiled a wish list from major forums and just wanna send it to them..
ya its on the corner of get a map and fuck off, your a big boy thats why theres google....jk...but seriously.
