Game Revolution: Halo: Reach Review

While no game will ever be perfect, Halo: Reach is as close as Bungie is going to get with the series, and they knew that going in. So they did their damndest to make sure it lived up to its namesake, probably even more so than Halo 3 did. So pick up your needler, or sniper rifle, or plasma rifle, or 9mm, and lock and load for one last mission. It's going to be one hell of a day for you and the rest of Noble Team. Let's see who makes it out alive.

Another good solid letter grade for Reach...I'm guessing an A/A+ would be the same as 9/10 I'm assuming?

Sadly it's a 100/100 in Metacritic :( but don't cry plz

That's because A+ doesn't exist on this site.

A+ - The Holy Grail of Gaming. The Perfect Game
. We have never given one.

So essentially, A is their highest score, which explains the 100/100 on Metacritic.

@OneSneakyMofo - No, not on this site. A+ will NEVER be given out so technically if no game can EVER achieve that score it can't be counted as a score.

A+ = 100
A = 90

Oops: I forgot about A- so it should be a 9.5/10

Edit: They are right. an A out of A+ is a 100/100. That's pretty stupid in my opinion. Then again, in college, those suckers that try to make a 100 overwork themselves while I make 89.5; it's still a 4.0 in quality points either way, hahahaha.

Edit 2: Just checked Metacritic again, and Metacritic converts this over to a 100/100; however, Game Revolution gave RDR a 95 and Uncharted 2 a 96 on their "See Publisher's Scores" which breaks down the true scores. Both Uncharted 2 and RDR were converted to 100/100 on Metacritic. This is why Metacritic's a joke.
