Enslaved Developer Diary Number 2: Monkey and Trip

The second developer diary for Namco Bandai's ENSLAVED: 'Odyssey to the West' was released and the dev team goes into detail regarding the two main protagonist's relationship. Monkey and Trip are very much dependent on each other. Players will be taking control of the strong and athletic Monkey and work with Trip, the smart and tech savvy female counterpart to make it through their journey alive. (Enslaved, PS3, Xbox 360)

I know, Ninja Theory is a great developer and got unlucky with being a PS3 Exclusive at launch when the PS3 was 600 bucks and the expectations sky high.

@mcroddi
got unlucky with being a PS3 exclusive? having to sell 2 million games ??? being only a launch title pushed 6 months back?????
Are you alright???????

Man, this HS hate is given out by Ninja Theory only to downplay their commune with Sony, so that their mediocre-at-best attempt at UE3.0 looks more appealing to the 360 crowd, which obviously haven't seen much of any proprietary engine in the face of the UE3.0 middleware.

Ninja Theory had the same attitude towards Microsoft back in the day since their first game "Kungfu Chaos" bombed with only 10,000 units sold in the first week. They should be grateful that Sony paid for their game that sold 2M units. Let us see how much would enslaved do!

I dunno... games with a lot of developer diaries usually end up sucking.

I think it is just a marketing strategy but the ratio might be a coincidence.
