Treyarch:”We’re going to support the hell out of Black Ops”

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia has been talking up their upcoming title COD Black Ops chances of beating the trade in by stating “We’re going to support the hell out of Black Ops. That will be our focus post-release: making sure we keep our fans engaged”.

In an interview with MCV the studio head says that a strong multiplayer component to their game when it releases later this year will make people think twice about trading in.

Activision:”We’re going to support milk the hell out of Call of Duty"

For a small monthly fee.

That rhyme was so beautiful, it brought a tear to my eye.

hmm we heard DICE say this about BC2 and how they would crush IW.

Ya they had DLC ,.... disc locked content. NO new content ever..

rdgneoz32899d ago

"We're going to support the hell out of Black Ops, we already have about 2 years worth of DLC on the disk already."

... what 'they' call support, I call DLC-milking.

Not worth a full-price purchase from me.

Anyone who truly loves gaming should just boycot Activision. They're the cancer of this industry.

Hopefully they support it when people start glitching or other issues arise unlike MW2 which many are waiting for it to get patch but might never happen.

Pandamobile2899d ago

Activision things that more support = more expensive map packs.

Expect $20 map packs.

El_Colombiano2899d ago

I would laugh SO hard if they tried selling $20 map packs.

You know what. Fine. Treyarch. I'm going to forget all the MW2 bullshit regarding mostly Activision pulling the strings and with map packs etc. and give you a real shot here. You have come a lot further since World at War and I'll give you a chance.

Release Black Ops, support the game well in the matter where consumers are happy with the DLC's or whatever way you may support it. So far I know this will perhaps be your only chance so use it well.

El_Colombiano2899d ago

Hey hey hey, I loved World at War. Maybe it's because I never touched the multiplayer?

Completely agree.
Ok so activision are publishing , the big bad devils of the gaming industry , blah blah blah. But come on, give Treyarch a chance, I guarantee half the people giving out shit about activision will be hypercrites and buy the game anyways.
Booked it recently :)
Nazi zombies and 3 maps in a map pack will do it for me, but they can release more than that if they like :)

JLesinski2899d ago

Hopefully this is a good sign. If it is only more $15 map packs I'm going to be pissed.

N4BmpS2899d ago

That's good and I'm glad to here that, I just hope Activision supports them, not rob them.
