PS3 version looks a bit sharper, imo.

i just clicked on the link to the page, and without zooming in, i saw the difference right away

I disagree. I think that there is a difference (as there always will be), but it's not enough to say that one is better than the other. It's not like RDR or FFXIII. There are differences in rendering even just between ATI and NVidia.

I'm happy with these results.

Fanboys are funny. Judging from these bad screens, they look identical.

What the hells going on with our bubble situation? I guess being real gets your bubbles taken.

You can't mute the truth!

bustamove2723d ago

Don't know why you got disagrees. The PS3 version does look sharper and has more color.

lokiroo4202723d ago

Looks like they did a good job porting. Well, either that, or I'm not squinting hard enough for the missing shadows or lighting on the corner of the ceiling on PS3/360 :P

And its exactly the same dam game

FiftyFourPointTwo2723d ago

Yeah but since the article is about screenshot comparison there's nothing wrong if you give your opinion.

Sam Fisher2723d ago

why click to a article that literaly says "Vanquish PS3 vs. Xbox 360 HD Screenshot Comparison", then say its "same dam game". people like you make no sence, we know it is. but it's a "...Screenshot Comparison".

Jac5al2723d ago

Hard to really tell the differences between the two versions.

Kurt Russell2723d ago

Looks pretty much identical to me too... If anything there is the slightest detail in contrast, but my tv can change that.

I'll buy the cheapest one ;)

niceguyWii32723d ago

They both look good, but my eyes are crap so who knows.

SnakeRule2723d ago

PS3 also has v-sync, while the 360 version lacks it

wazzim2723d ago

Maybe for a reason, instead of extra AA.
Played the 360 version and it looked fine, no screen tear. The PS3 version looks great too so that's great.

Strange_Evil2723d ago

Both versions have 2xMSAA as confirmed by Digital Foundry and the PS3 version employes Triple Buffer as opposed to the Double buffered 360 version hence the thing doesn't tear on the PS3 whereas it loses Vsync on 360 when frame rate dips below 30... Here is the Digital Foundry link...

http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...

"The key difference seems to be that the Xbox 360 goes for a conventional capped 30FPS, double-buffer approach (losing v-sync when dropping under the target frame-rate in order to maintain fluidity) whereas the PS3 game employs triple-buffering, effectively ensuring that there is not a single torn frame any time during the gameplay experience."

"As it is, both demos operate at the same rendering resolution: 1024x720, with 2x multi-sampling anti-aliasing"
