GameSpot: Castle Crashers PSN Review

Castle Crashers is certainly a delightful homage to the fantasy-themed multiplayer beat-'em-ups of days gone by. But more than that, it's a great game in its own right, with gameplay, humor, and a terrific visual style that combine to make this particular brand of old-fashioned fun really fun again.

Played it on xbox360 at a friend´s house with 3 other buddies and had a blast every time...
I fully recommend checking it out... specially if you have buddies to play with...

Old times come alive through this game...
Finally on ps3 and worth every penny...

Have yet to play multiplayer, but I'm loving the challenge of solo. Solid game. Well worth 15 clams. Now, if I can only convince a friend to get it...

It's such a good game. It's pretty long too. Also the Rpg elements in the came are surprisingly deep and there are a ton of weapons and things to unlock. I Can't recommend this enough. Only problem I've been having with this is trying to get a party with my friends started. For some reason we can never get into a room together. When we accept the invite is brings up the screen that says " This game is no longer available". Which I'm sure these problems will be fixed via patch eventually but it's still just a bit frustrating considering that the game is ridiculously hard with only one player. Great though. Definitely worth the $15.

Cool only 2 years after the 360 version lol

I've always wanted a 360 because of the cool exclusives. So I'm stroked that Castle Crashers finally made it's way onto the Ps3. I had heard a ton of good things about it and I had played it once before at a buddies house. It was definitely one of my most coveted Xbox 360 games. But yeah I mean after 2 whole years I can't say that it was definitely worth the wait but I am not going to complain because I am extremely happy about finally getting to play this.

yup. plus the original 360 version got an 8.5 lol

Why a lower score than the 360 version? Because some of the ADDITIONAL side content isn't that great?

Scott Pilgrim is better.

lol. If by "better" you mean "boring" then sure. Scott Pilgrim wears out its welcome for most half-way through the demo. The Anamanaguchi sound track is just about the only good thing about that game. Toss some Anamanaguchi in your CD player and play River City Ransom. You'll have 10x more fun than SPvsTW. Bad movie. Bad game.

I only got a little more than half way through the first level before I got bored and quit. The levels are so long and repetitive. Soundtrack kicks ass though.
