Retailer Lists MAG 2 for PS3

We’ve had a bevy of retailers ousting new games this past month. From the recently revealed Mass Effect 2 on PS3, to the still unannounced Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia Trilogies. The latest retailer listing is much more of a ‘massive’ surprise.

Pretty sure it sold and/or shipped over a million copies so it wouldn't be that suprising. 512 players in one battle, perhaps? :P

Disagrees? Does 512 players sound like too much or something?

I'd prefer 256 again, but more refined and balanced.

It was confirmed by a dev, that the patch that includes the skill tree and everything will be "2.0"
all they have to do is change the packaging and BD lables and boom MAG 2

Trexman892567d ago

oh nice! I wasn't sure if they would make a MAG 2

Its Zipper, they're dedicated to their fans......well for the most part, the past few SOCOM's have left me disappointed, but I'm hoping that will change with SOCOM4.

@UP - I know, I was talking about SOCOM 3 and Combined Assault.

UP2567d ago

the past SOCOM was not made by zipper

Socom 3 wasn't great either though.

MAG is good enough as is, and is continuing to get better. It really doesn't need a sequel for a while with all the improvements and new features it gets. I'd be interested in MAG 2 for the PS4, but a MAG 2 isn't really needed right now.

Agreed. Just continue to support MAG until the next-gen, and I'll be happy.

MAG has new updates coming out already. There's a beta for the new MAG DLC right this second. Plus MOVE support. And it's not even that old of a game. And, January 2011? With no advertising or announcement yet? That's in 4 months.

This is obviously a mistake.

January 2011 is the typical placeholder for games they don't know the release of, but want to be able to take preorders on.
