Resolution: The Game City

Resolution's Brendan Caldwell writes: In a steel and glass cavern called the Antenna conference centre, they are building up GameCity Festival. Appropriately, they call it a summit meeting. GameCity have been running this northern independent gaming festival for the past four years. They’ve had zombie gatherings. They’ve held live performances of Jonathan Coultan, Richard Jacques and Rebecca Mayes. They’ve had keynotes from Lorne Lanning, of Oddworld Inhabitants, and from Keita Takahashi of Katamari and Noby Noby Boy fame. Hell, last year they filled the town square full of LEGO and told people to go wild. Just because they bloody well could. And because it promoted LEGO Universe, I suppose.
