His name might not carry the weight of Yokoi or Miyamoto, but Yoshio Sakamoto is another man who's helped lay the foundations for the Nintendo we know today. Having cut his teeth on Donkey Kong Junior, he went on to help create Kid Icarus and Metroid, a series which he continues to have a hand in to this day.
