Itchy Thumbs: Ultimate Spider-Man Total Mayhem iPhone Review

Itchy Thumbs says: Following on from the good-looking but flawed and frustrating Iron Man 2, Gameloft’s use of their Marvel license has now extended to the web-slinger himself, Spider-Man. Based on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book, Total Mayhem mixes platform action with combat to create an experience somewhat reminiscent of the classic PS1 Spidey titles.

Across 12 levels, our hero punches, kicks, jumps and (occasionally) swings into action, taking on several of his most famous foes in the process. When an explosion in the city causes thugs to run rampant and symbiotes to give added powers and threat to super villains, only one man can possibly save the day. (Gameloft, iPhone) 8/10
