Chris Schilling: The Metroid series has always felt like an interloper in Nintendo's family-friendly line-up, its darker, adult tone at odds with the sunny disposition of Mario and company. So it's fitting that, amid the safe sequels and familiar follow ups, Other M should offer arguably the most audacious franchise update of this console generation. -
