As you know LittleBigPlanet 2 will be partially playable with Playstation Move when it launches this November. There will be some special Move levels on the disc when you buy it, but you won’t be able to create your own levels with it.
ps move + lbp 2 day 1 purchase
im really interested in how Move will work with creating in Move. I think Id be able to create some things much easier with it over using the DS3 due to the greater accuracy.
The idea of the community being able to make all kinds of games specially designed to utilize the PS Move almost made my head explode. Just, awesome... Edit: after watching that video, it was great to learn that they actually hired a few people from the LBP community to work on LBP2 and beyond. Very refreshing to hear this and the game looks great.
I love LBP and would really enjoy using Move with it but I have to be honest, one thing that makes me uneasy about this is that it may become too difficult to just sit down and play a quick game without unpacking my move controller since every creator will want to add a few Move features to their level. The Move looks really cool and all, I'm just saying I hope it doesn't get in the way of the regular game to the point that it becomes hard to find a level you can just play with a pad.
i'm pretty sure there will be filters for levels that requires Move
I have only created one very basic level in LBP. I wanted to do more but lost my save file when my PS3 broke. I do plan on trying to create quite a few levels in LBP2 and I dont plan on adding Move to my levels. I do want to use it to help me create them though. I expect that there will be a lot of people who also wont use Move very often as a requirement for their level. Also with the new website it should be easier than ever to find levels that you would want to play.
people really dont know what they're missing.... dont let cute o'l sackboy fool ya!!!
