Duke Nukem Forever is multiplatform, coming next year

Just a few short moments ago at PAX, it was announced that Duke Nukem will be available for both Xbox 360 and PS3 in addition to PC. The game was also confirmed to be available next year! Unfortunately, the gameplay footage for Duke Nukem Forever isn't allowed to be filmed, but will be available later. Stay tuned!

After over a decade of delays, cancellations and "it'll be released when it's finished"s, I have no idea what to expect.

I don't expect it to suck, but I'm hardly expecting them to shit a golden egg either. I'll be sad if it isn't great if I expect it to be, that's all I'm saying.

It's a game like all the others it wasn't worked for 12 full years mostly 3 or 4 out of those 12 all the cancelations and delays where made because economic and legal problems not because they couldn't finish the game.

What to expect? A GAME is obviously not going to be a piece of trash... it's Gearbox and they haven't dissapointed me.

Not every video game character needs substance. There's plenty of games like that, why can't we have this one game that's just about causing as much destruction as possible for no reason except that it's cool. Duke Nukem was never about having an awesome story, characters with depth etc.... If they changed that now, it'd pretty much be selling out.

I don`t know if i can see duke in a serious story. The most of a story we ever get in his games is the aliens pissed him off and hes gonna kill every single one.

Take Two fought in court for this moment. When this story broke last night and everyone was skeptical. I said this is going to happen because take-Two wants this title. The announcement of Duke Nukem finally getting completed would start a media fenzy and an amazing marketing campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the delay in the advertising like: FOREVER BEGINS MARCH 2011
