I love Netflix streaming. I've found so many fantastic foreign films through the service, and reconnected with so many other old favorite TV shows and movies I had forgotten about.

yup, found myself watching lots of interesting indie & foreign films on my 360, although I'd still like to see the instant watch library updated a little more frequently... I want even more to choose from!

thedisagreefairy2937d ago

"the girl with the dragon tattoo" extremely good thriller/mystery that is foreign.

lowcarb2937d ago

Agreed...loved the Chaser and now awaiting Spartacus season 2 and Crash season 3.

DeFFeR2937d ago

Voltron! Seasons 1-7, love the instant stream for TV shows (sucks for discs unless you only watch one or two a night...)

If you like foreign films, my favorite movie ever is Pan's Labyrinth. Be sure to see it.

Also any* of Akira Kurosawa's movies. The Seven Samurai and Yojimbo are both really* good.

And decent list, though any list with The Iron Giant on it is a good list.

I watch about 1 movie every 3-4 months. When I need to, I just rent from the Zune service ($3-4). I don't like monthly fees, they become bills. I have enough bills to track.

You watch 3 movies a year? My god... I do that in one day often.

n to the b2937d ago

guess it depends on how much you watch. personally I can go thru a lot more films/tv than that so netflix quickly becomes a much better value.

n to the b2937d ago

1 advantage of the zune service though: you have the option to buy instead of just rent.

ReservoirDog3162937d ago

One movie every 3-4 months? Scary.

I've seen one movie already today. And might see A Serious Man later!

OK, I know this is Game Informer and shit, but what the FUCK does this have to do with gaming besides nothing?

Should not be on N4G. Who the hell approved this?

AKS2937d ago

Anger problems? There are actually some excellent suggestions in there. If you're not interested, go away. It's not like the title was worded in a manner that deceptively lured you in here.

Urmomlol2937d ago (Edited 2937d ago )

The hypocrisy is maddening.

If some no name site or blog did this, there'd be a million reports with ass hats saying "HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GAMING" or some shit. But since it's a big name site, it's totally cool?

I see the same bullshit happen with Kotaku and their dogshit cosplay articles. Just because you're a big site doesn't mean you can post whatever the fuck you want on N4G. This had absolutely dick to do with gaming, thus it shouldn't be here. This isn't fucking rocket science here.

Zachmo1822937d ago

Stop being a nerd dude who cares.....Like omg theres a article not about gaming really!! Oh well does it kill you to see this if you don't like it don't comment on it cause there are a bunch of other ones that have to do with gaming so that should please your ass!! Maybe some people don't no about these movies and have netflix and now they have something to watch...Life isn't just about gaming you know right? wait never mind in your mind it is..Damn dude get a life!!

i wish you could sort the movies on the instant disc by rating. some of these movies ive never even heard of and ill probably pass them up, but they might have a good rating and i wouldnt even know it.

DeFFeR2937d ago

you mean on your xbox?

You can do it on

DeFFeR2937d ago

yeah - it works the same on xbox and ps3 - but your instant Q is updated on your system after you mess with it on

That's what I do - I hate that there's not a search function on the consoles...
