The games aren’t there yet, but the ultra-accurate Move takes motion gaming to a new level and has huge potential.
Another great review the only problem I have with the Move is I got two weeks to wait before I get it :(
Yeah, that's probably why they gave it a 4 and not a 5...
...The lack of launch games? It might get better, don't get me wrong, but as how it is right now, I don't see a reason on why to waste 100$ on some Motion Controller.
Not just the motion controller. It comes with a game.
And a PS3Eye that you can use with a lot of other games. Some that require a PS3Eye to get platinum with (Buzz, Burnout).
This is Sony we are talking about. Do you remember people's complaint about the PS3 not having any games?. Yeah, its extremely stupid to doubt them.
i totally agree with "The games aren’t there yet, but the ultra-accurate Move takes motion gaming to a new level and has huge potential."
Yeah as long as the tech is solid, which it is, the games will come soon enough!!! 8)
Some awesome reviews coming in for move! Getting myself the 320GB bundle next month then getting the girlfriend one at christmas :)
What is the difference if you buy it now or later? Everyone keeps saying they will wait for KZ3 and Socom but how does them being released next year affect your purchase?
They might be saving up for them, or they just don't find the point. Most likely, they want to have a reason to buy them now. If you aren't going to use them now if you have them, then they will just be collecting dust. This can apply to many things...
There are current titles to play, RUSE, Echochrome, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5, MAG, Under Siege coming up next.
i liked the demo of RUSE think it might be one to try with move
As long as it gives me enough excercise in a comfortable indoor bedroom then I'm sold. But I'm no casual gamer so I'll wait till the [email protected]$$ games join in.
I'll be getting one for sure. My daughter would love Eyepet and her birthday is next month. It'll be nice to have when KZ3 comes down the pike. Might even be good for GT5.
in the future, sony should bundle the Move with games such as SOCOM, KZ2, and Sorcery. its should push sales for this thing
In before Omega saying: "Huh, only 4 out of 5, I guess Sony isn't really trying too hard. Doubt if this even makes a profit. As we speak, I'm guessing Sony execs are trying to find a way to gracefully bow out of the console business."
omega won't come in any positive reviews hopefully, i won;t be surprised to see him is the sad MS CNET review for move tho... fingers crossed no trolls
I managed to take advantage of the Best Buy offer last week. I already have the ps eye so ordered a Move controller and Sports Champions individually on line and qualified for a FREE $25 Best Buy gift card. All with FREE shipping..lol The $25 will now go towards Time Crisis when it releases. Just watch those deals folks....lol
I made my own official review thread for move at N4G http://gamrconnect.vgchartz... Also feel free to look at my official move thread if you get time, it took me many women hours to keep up to date, but you know what move is worth every minute http://gamrconnect.vgchartz...
There’s also very little difference between Move and Kinect on price. Microsoft’s system will cost £130 when it launches in November 2010, while £135 will get you the Move Starter Pack (Eye, Motion controller, demo disc) plus a spare Motion controller and two Navigation controllers. it's about £50, please stop this hiking of the core cost to play
But you don't need most of the things you listed for Move to enjoy it, especially the nav controllers. But hey keep spreading the FUD that people need all this some will stick, the truth will be in the games long term, those display booths should help Move no end once it lines up fully against Kinect
I actually had the chance to see both devices in action this week. While both are very fun to play the Move actually impressed more than Kinect because of the hardcore games upcoming. Socom 4 was very fluid (and looks way better than Confrontation) as was the Sport champions game. On Kinect I played Kinect Adventures,a boxing game and watched friends play Dance Central. They were cool but I felt like i was playing Wii games with no controller. I walked away deciding I would definitely have a Move on day 1. Also anyone who has seen Minority Report is in for a real treat.
