THe trailers look awesome, and my brother(who lives elsewhere) can't stop bragging about the demo, and the reviews are all around 10.0, but I can't believe it got such a high score without multiplayer. Would it be so hard to add multiplayer? Multiplayer adds MAX replay value for me, and I usually dont buy games without multiplayer on nexgen consoles.

definately have to buy this....the demo was incredible. Reviews say that same thing....going to purchase the limited edition....it comes with a big daddy figurine...cool stuff. I love water effects in games and the water effects in this game...oh my goodness.....wow.

Personally I dont agree with a score out of 10 or a score out of 5 system. I'm not saying for a second Bioshock doesn't deserve high 9's, it looks brilliant. I'm saying no game is perfect so a 10 out of 10 score isn't really accurate. Thats why I prefer a percentage based system because the greatest game in the world would get a 97% or 98% but still show theres room to improve.
Anyway, couple of weeks to go for Bioshock, the only game I want in August.
You're right, no game is perfect, but when a game delivers the experience in such a great way, minor flaws don't take anything away from that experience. Also at that moment in time, the game is just as good as it gets in gaming, compared to most other games, and therefore it deserves a
10.

The significance of BioShock currently being console exclusive to the 360 can't be underestimated. If you don't already own a 360, you'll most certainly find your resolve weakened to breaking point - and failing that, you'll want to make your PC dance to its tune.
