2007 may be one of the greatest years for gaming ever but it may be too much of a good thing. The AT&T Blue Room has a short article covering what they are calling The Great Game Glut and why this is both a good and a bad thing for gamers.
I'm going to have to choose what games to buy this year, less because of money and more because I simply won't have the time to play them all. At least this will make the annual post-holiday drought that much easier to deal with.
With most people picky about the games they play and most people only having 1 next-gen console, I dont think this is a bad thing at all. Most people will play the games they want and forget about the rest. Only a few gamers want all the games from across the board, and they are going to have to dedicate a lot of life to it all.
