5 reasons why Halo: Reach was leaked

Halo: Reach has fallen into the hands of pirates - Here are five reasons why this keeps happening. (Bungie, Halo: Reach, Industry, Microsoft, Xbox 360)

This happens to many highly-anticipated games. The reasons are the same. The bad thing about these leaks is the new trend of lamers spoiling the fun for everyone else.

Saw the ending on youtube
All I can say is that I shed some manly tears.

Even though I watched the ending I will still be picking Reach to see how we got to that EPIC ending or should I say begging.
Eric Cartman  +   1619d ago
It would have been better if you did't tell us how you felt when you watched the ending of the game. Many people don't like to know how it ends, like whether the ending is happy, sad, epic, and/or retarded.

I hope you understand my point. :)

All 360 games in the last 18 months have. But PS3 games don't have that issue becuase of their coding and specific design. Also the games arent shipped digitally. That was just dumb in myhonest opinion. PC games usually are leaked way early, and if not, cracked on day one.

Why do these guys go online when they are playing a leaked game...
WLPowell  +   1619d ago
Smart enough to steal it, but then they get cocky and start messing up.
pustulio  +   1618d ago
If they played offline without HDD using a USB as memory and on a acc that is not their main acc they would have never been caught.

They are just really stupid.
WLPowell  +   1619d ago
Cause it was going to happen regardless, but MS went the extra mile and served the game up on a silver platter by putting it on the marketplace.

Reason 6 hackers are just plain retarted

i kinda don't agree with the theory of deliver people stealing it most if not all retailers know how many items come in a package and it would be a HUGE risk on there career if they tried to steal it an it turned up missing....though i don't doubt that it has happened before
HSx9  +   1619d ago
If hackers were retarded, they would have never gotten a hold of the game so early.
Rybakov  +   1619d ago
no its just retarted to steal anything in the first place
its disrespectful not to mention illegal
Apolloeye  +   1619d ago
How can retail and media be the weakest link?

The fact that this piece of tripe gets 250 degrees of heat on N4G is why this site gets disrespect. This isn't actually an article, it's collection of completely obvious statements that's insulting to people who actually try to think when they write video game articles.

This never should have been approved in the first place. N4G needs to exercise higher quality control over who gets the right to approve stories. *rolls eyes*
