For many, making current gen games into 8-bit remakes might be fun, but for others it’s all about bringing classics into the modern era of gaming. Here is a look at five great retro games updated to please the fans.
Chrono Trigger,Sonic, and Mega Man?!?!?! Oh my!
I never knew these were even real until now.
Beats of Rage is based off of The King of Fighters? Does it suffer from SNK Boss Syndrome?
I remember seeing Chrono Resurrection a few years back, and if I remember correctly it was nearly complete, but SquareEnix had a fit and forced them to shut down under threat of legal action. They could have bought this game and released it on the DS instead of the lame port they ended up using. It would have saved them so much time and money. DAMN YOU SQUAREENIX!!!
I wouldn't get too excited, 75% of the time these games get so far and then the developer loses interest and abandons the project. Either that or it gets shut down.
That Chrono Trigger video was awsome I would be all over that in a heart beat. Megaman 2.5 and Beats of Rage I would play. Its a shame that some of these games don't get the remake they deserve when they rerelease these games they put them on the PSN,XBL,And the Virtual Store just as the day you baught the old cartridge. Nothing wrong with that but remake some of these great classics.
Megaman 2.5D looks and plays awesome
Man I would've loved Chrono Resurection.
