Three Digimon Games go gold (free stickers)

Namco sent out an announcement about three Digimon games going gold, and you may think so what? Free stickers, that's what! Digimon World Data Squad for PlayStation 2 and Digimon World Dawn / Digimon World Dusk for Nintendo DS will be in stores on September 18 along with…a sheet of exclusive stickers!

So, in addition to looking cool by walking around looking for other friends (read: other nerds) through the Nintendo Wi-Fi connect for these parallel titles or staying at home with the cel-shaded PS2 RPG, you can look really cool by placing Digimon stickers all over your clothes and body.

The company's less sarcastic description of the games is on Gaming Target.

It may not be the hottest story, but its super sarcastic tone makes it so n4g-worthy.

Uh fans has already notice that. You are 3 years or 20 years late.

The games allow us to interact in a world we great to love from the anime. Nobody cares if it's original or not. It's pokemon and we love it.

"The games allow us to interact in a world we great to love from the anime."

Does this mean, "The games allow us to go to a world that we love from the anime?" I'm going to hope that's what you meant.

Also, directly from the article: "Keep in mind that this article isn’t trying to bash Pokémon or its fan base, even if they were compared to piranhas earlier. Most gamers are like that when any of their favorite series announce a new game. This article is meant to give recognition to overlooked games that Pokémon borrowed features from. "

The article isn't saying that there's anything wrong with pokemon or liking pokemon.

ninsigma2968d ago

God damn I need to check my comments before I post lol
Grew to love is what I meant to say.

Oh yeah I'm not bashing the article. Just saying that it doesn't matter that it's not original, just that what it gives is amazing anyway. That's all :)

"Oh yeah I'm not bashing the article. Just saying that it doesn't matter that it's not original, just that what it gives is amazing anyway. That's all :)"

Oh, I didn't say you were bashing the article, I was just telling you what it actually said. Also, in the article itself, it does state that most of the games in the sub genre borrow from one another and that there's nothing wrong with it. Despite the title, the article speaks on where a lot of these innovations came from and how we should acknowledge them, rather than just latch onto the popular one.

user66660472968d ago (Edited 2968d ago )

That applies double to Smash Bros fans.
Edit: Besides who cares? Not everything need to be original.

electricrabbit2968d ago

Well, in the article itself you'll see that there's an entire paragraph talking about how games borrow from each other all the time. They also state that there's nothing wrong with it, that people should just know where things come from.

Which is what I say in the article.

user66660472968d ago

Who even reads articles? :p

electricrabbit2967d ago

No one it seems, it's far easier to comment on the title. :p

Quatron2963d ago

And do you know why? Because it's nothing more but clickbait and bullshit all wrapped up into one.

Fuck any desperate asshole that does this shit!

electricrabbit2963d ago

Emoticons with the tongue sticking out signify a joking tone or playful banter. A tongue and cheek phrase if you will.

Dear individual, you took a comment and a title far too seriously.
