"Not all DLC is worth it, but often it is and truth be told, we’d be better off if more games would take the time to integrate it. Here’s a few that should. " Included: Heavy Rain God of War III Heavenly Sword Metal Gear Solid 4 plus more...
... I hate the whole DLC-rage that's going on nowadays. That said, the game that really DOES need DLC, is Battlefield 1943. Arcade-game, so never was to expensive to begin with, and with so many people still playing and loving it, it could really use a nice map-pack.
I'm not a big fan of DLC either, but I love the DLC for Alan Wake. It actually serves a purpose and continues the story where the main game left off. I bet Heavy Rain DLC would be just as effective.
Metal Gear DLC trophies please.
Gof of war III DLC now, Free. I still feel ripped of for that one. And some for Demon's souls too, simply because the game is awesome and I'd like an excuse for playing it again.
Or they could just makes games better in the first place. You know actual PLAN for the release of a game and put in more than 1 or 2 MP modes...add gameplay features that encourage replayability from the start Eg. Dead Space and FC2's new game plus modes and persistent upgrades. When new equipment in a game and new character skins become deemed worth playing for....there is something very wrong. ESPECIALLY when trophies and achievements are the sole factor for many games to be played more than once. the gameplay itself should encourage replayability, if it doesn't, maybe you should stop buying $#!+ games...

Theres that broken "Land of the Giants" archstone. I though it would either get fixed and be the last level, or would be DLC. But you never get to see it or go there
oh wait... I can't disagree enough with Darksiders. It needed some more varied gameplay but the game was complete. It ended with the game being resolved so I doubt any DLC would make sense. Also they plan to release a sequel in 2012. One game I think should have DLC even though it never will is Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I think Nintendo could pull it off if they ever wanted to. Map packs and character packs would be amazing and would actually get used instead of just changing the look of your character. And added Subspace levels for the platforming. I've just become very sad at the thought of this... DAMMIT!
MGS4 sorta did have DLC. It had Downloadable Camo, songs, and MGS4 Integral Podcasts. It wasn't much but it was all free I believe.
i really do not purchase much DLC
... in fact, for me, DLC is often reason to NOT buy a game. I'll just wait for the GOTY edition instead.
I don't have a problem with DLC. They little expansion packs at smaller prices, released more freqently
A great list of games with God of War III being my top pick. How awesome would some additional content for the game be? God of War is the kind of game that leaves you wanting more, so a little DLC would definitely go a long way.
The list seems a bit PS3 heavy - is that because the author is a PS3 gamer or because PS3 games are short on DLC?
More Bayonetta would be nice...
