Kevin Jones writes:"The story jumps back and forth between Vengeance, Betrayal, and Redemption. It is a bit more straight-forward and mostly uses the story to propel you through waves of enemies. That's not saying that there aren't some engaging moments in Kane and Lynch, but it's a rare thing to see in the game as most of the actual conversation happens in-game. When you do see some sort of cutscene it'll be a brief conversation to move the plot along. What is there though is entertaining enough to keep you mowing down enemies in waves."
