Resistance: Fall of Man or How Kotaku Stopped Worrying and Learned To Love an FPS

Flynn Marco of Kotaku Writes:
"Any of you that have been following my posts for a while will know how terrible I am at FPSs and shooting games in general. And when I say terrible I mean embarrassingly awful. Unless there is some sort of lock on feature, I'm completely useless. Somehow I can never manage to aim properly and end up shooting the wall or one of my comrades. Let's also not forget about my tragic foray into Gears of War where I managed to blow myself up with my own grenade. So you can imagine that when I bought a PS3 recently and was faced with the prospect of playing Resistance: Fall of Man, I was more than a little bit nervous..."

Wow, I can hardly imagine someone starting pro-FPS with Resistance instead of Half-Life, UT or Quake.

I really loved the ending, it had BioShock! Now that's an odd way from Resistance To BioShock.

Resistance was really the first FPS I got into as well... I mean a played COD2 a little bit online, but now I'm craving to own some noobs in Haze, COD 4, and UT3. Thanks Resistance!

but Black was definitely my favorite in terms of the number of "Oh Sh%t!" moments. I tried Resistance a little bit, and it was loads of fun.

there's a HUGE difference between the experience PS3 delivers and the gimped borefest that is called a 360 game.
