I'm sick of these foreign sites with all their popups and slow loading...
Nov can't come soon enough. Logitech G27 wheel I'm coming for you baby with this BAD boy!
Starting to get really pissed at 90% of the links to videos being directed to this foreign site. It takes forever to load compared to a normal website, and I have to see that stupid google translate thing on top every time. Not to mention the website's layout is horrible and it takes 5 minutes to figure out what page you're on and which video to watch because instead of seperate pages for each news story they put ALL videos on one page and update them over time, it's ridiculous.
Once you get to the site, high-light a sentence of text above the video, hold down, and sweep across the video to a sentence below. Then right click on the sentence highlighted above or below the video and choose "View Selection Source" (for Firefox) and in the pop up page you will see the real Youtube link.
Very pretty and also easy to drive. The time was bad though, an Alfa Romeo Brera can do a 1:36 in the hands of Stig. An incredible time would be 1:19
I've watched Top Gear so much, always wanted to drive on the track and I know it so well just from watching the show I knew exactly how many corners were left and I said "flat out here past the tire wall" when I watched this. XD GT5 = Driving game of the decade.
Dude I said the same thing, Top Gear is my fav TV show!
Gamescom should have just been called the GT Show this year.
European love their cars and GT.
can't come soon enough. Have my wheel ready since March lol!.
200 cars with cockpit view for gt5 versus Forza 400+ cars all with detailed cockpit view is not acceptable after 6 years.
get your facts straight. the 200 premium cars will have fully detailed cockpits, 100% accurate. the other 800 cars will have nice detailed cockpits, just not 100% accurate. plus u cannot compare the masterful work that went into gran turismo 5, to the small work that went into forza 3. polyphony did so much research for gran turismo 5, including research on every track down to each plate of grass. and tested every real car themselves. also talked to professional race car drivers. just stop being stupid.
Actually, standard cars won't have cockpit view. But GT5 still > Forza 3 hands down. 1000+ cars, course maker, Karting, WRC, Super GT, Nascar, 70+ tracks (and more with course maker), better physics and damage, advanced B-Spec mode where you manage your own race team, better graphics, and much more.
Yeah. But forza's missing: 1080p @ 60fps Track Editor Rally Karts Wrc 8mp Photomode 16 cars on track Weather Day/Night smoke/sand Animated vehicle spoilers The sad thing is that the standard car detail in GT5 is still better than Forza 3's top notch in-game cars. Replay/Photomode replaces the cars with a high polygon car model that you never even play with. Hell, even the beginning of the race is a high polygon car, that then switches to low polygon in game.
GT5 should have those extras because it's releasing a year later than Forza. If Turn 10 waited until 2011 to release Forza 3, it would have even more features. At some point, though, you have to stop and release the game. "Low" polygons. I'm curious as to what your definition of "low" is? I'd like to see where your information comes from. Please post a link to where a Forza car is compared to it's identical GT5 counterpart as far as polygon count goes. GT5 is only a few months from release, and I still haven't seen pictures or videos of those standard interiors that are supposed to exist. Again, you obviously have seen the standard interiors because you claim that they are better than Forza's. Please post that link as well so I can see for myself.
"If Turn 10 waited until 2011 to release Forza 3, it would have even more features." no, fail. You forgot one thing forza ITS A DVD BASED GAME!!!!!!!! more content would cause turn10 to put the game on 3dvds with up to 20gb of installation. if they wouldve waited till 2011 then the most forza3 would gotn was up an upgrade on their bumpercar physics.
It is still a measly number and most of the 200 with cockpit view are nascar cars and rally cars and the kart is also included in the 200 since it was shown it has a cockpit view.
as are lamborghini, ferrari, mclaren, maserati, toyota, nissan, ruf, audi... etc. With more detail than any game on any console or pc. Keep crying, maybe only 7.1 million will buy the game, instead of 7.09 wah
honda, mercedes-benz, fiat, aston-martin, chevrolet, ford, dodge, bmw, bugatti, jaguar, lancia, lotus...
k 7.1 million then ;)
Forza is awesome. It's got 8 highly detailed cars on the track, at once. You can paint cars and auction them. You can play multiplayer with 7 of your best friends. Forza has damage AND paint scrape effects. It even has assists that can almost completely be taken off. Pretty obnoxious huh? Seriously, GT5 is going to be amazing. Because PD has been dedicated to the GT cause for over 10 years and have always produced a high quality product and remained relatively humble throughout. They're making the games as much for themselves as they are for the fans and motorheads around the world. Turn 10 does this too, just not as well. Not a dig, it's tough to do what PD does, very few companies come close. In the end, you have the definitive racing game and obviously love it. If you want to try the real driving simulator, give GT5 and the PS3 a shot. Pair it with your favorite USB steering wheel, and you're set. Prologue is on the store, and you can start your car collection a few months early.
They always put lots of passion into their games & that's why we always praised, respected & loved the gran turismo series.
