Eurogamer writes: Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has said that the kart racing features unveiled for Gran Turismo 5 at gamescom were originally destined for a future instalment in the long-running series.
i think the next installment on GT is gonna be on the next Generation of consoles
2000 or 3000 Cars Confirmed.
now that they have the game and physics engine completed, it will probably still take them at the most 3 years to finish a new gt game, since yamauchi is a perfectionist...and going off of that...it could be released simultaneously with a next gen sony console...gt6 would definitely push hardware sales of a new machine
GT is a religion
I think the same thing too. With GT5 not coming out until the PS3's 4th year on the market, it makes perfect sense to save GT6 for next-gen so that Polyphony will have a full fleged GT title ready much sooner in the PS4's lifecycle. With GT5 having so much content and features packed into it, I don't see a real need for another until next gen. anyways.
I hope they add racing bikes and that dangerous track by Ireland... i forgot the name.
Great news but hopefully it won't take another 5yrs to get the next one out.
great.. now when everyone talks about the development of GT6.. they will say it started in August 2010. Almost as bad as thinking they started GT5 in 2005
Why do you have soo many bubbles? Did you use your modding power to bubble yourself. On topic: Well now PD wouldn't have to worry much about the tracks in gt6 because we can create an unlimited number of them in course edit. I also don't like how people complain when they are taking their time to give us the best racing simulator ever.
now that everyone see why GT5 took so long to come out no one need to whine when GT6 take long. but then again PD might start soon and right on time for PS4 im sure the graphic be almost life-like and 3D
Well i cant wait for gt5 when it comes out tho most likely ps4
If PD wants to they could release GT6 in 3 years time at most. I think the PS4 won't be out by then.
I'm pretty sure all the cars I want to drive are in gt5.
